last night's ride

last night around 10:30 paul and i decided to go out for a ride. it had just rained and it wasn't that cold out and it seemed like a prime time to get out and ride. we called john and he joined up. so we cruise through southside into downtown and then out to the civic center. on the way back south we take a turn into this awesome tunnel on the way out toward sloss. from that point we just rode with no particular destination in mind. we ended up riding through woodlawn. which was pretty good ride. the streets were in decent shape and it was pretty much flat with a few curves thrown in thre. as we pass a convenience store however the mood kind of changed. this dude who seemed pretty angry already steps toward us as we pass and yells something to the effect of,"Man, WHAT THE FUCK YA'LL DOING OUT HERE?" as i ride past he steps toward me again, this time in arm's reach and yelled,"GET BACK HERE LITTLE BITCH!"

whoa.

so we end up next to the airport and plot our route back. i was all about finding a way to avoid the asshole at the convenience store but alas it looked that was the only way back.

everything went fine. we got buzzed once by someone in a fucked up altima but other than that it was a good ride back.

so the lesson is avoid crackheads in woodlawn if at all possible.

hopefully we can get a bigger crew to ride the next time we go out.
