hey everyone,
it's been awhile since there has been an update on brocycle. i just read on a photo blog about the photographer losing a friend to a cycling accident in new york. on that note this is just a simple note asking everyone to be really careful out there on the ignorant streets of birmingham. and please for the love of god where a helmet. i know it's not cool and you may feel that you look like a dweeb but it's a mean mean world out there. here is a link to the previously mentioned blog post.

Hi,
Safety is a serious issue to urban cyclists. Being vigilant is the key.
I'm glad to see that there is a blog for B'gham. I wasn't sure that there were actually urban cyclists or commuters, I've seen so few.
Are there any other night rides besides the Thursday? If not, where exactly does the Thursday night ride meet. I'd love to join, I miss my night rides. Thanks.

thanks for your comment! as of a couple weeks ago, brocycle went on hiatus because we weren't able to raise enough attendance on our night rides. stay posted, and hopefully in the next few months we will be able to get things back on track.
